IMO, Klipsch are the best sounding earbuds on the market. Sometimes I question the quality of their product because I've gone through a number of S4s in the last few years. Oddly enough, I have a pair of S2s that have outlasted all the S4s. I bought the R6s hoping for upgrade in sound and quality.

The R6s look heavy because of the flat, thick, sturdy wires. But they fit comfortably in the ear with no noticeable weight. They do tend to give alot of feedback when you hit or rub the wire against something, so I use the S2s or the S4s at the gym. After about 20hrs of breaking them in, the sound is slightly better than the S4s, and they sound nice with all genres of music. Sound is crisp and clear, with excellent balance between bass treble, and mid range. These are earbuds worth gettiing.

Not only is this great for listing to while I am on my bike, when the phone rings I can answer it easily and the caller hears me great! The only issue is it works so well that when I ride on the street I only put one earphone in who I can hear the traffic!

I am bad at writing so my thoughts will be random FYI. I was at a trip to Best Buy the other day and took a stroll through the headphone isle. I tried the many display headphones with my own source and was surprised that these phones were the best there. None of the headphones available were audiophile grade(expected) and prices ranged from $30-400. These managed to outperform every headphone in the store in my opinion with a pricetag of only $99@bestbuy vs $150. The headphones are very comfortable and lightweight. I especially like how the earpad makes contact with the entire ear unlike many that only have a ring of padding. They block out a lot of sound, even more than the noise cancelling headphones on display selling for $400 such as the plasticy mediocre sounding Beats. The sound is great. There is strong bass, life like and clear mids, and good highs that are slightly restrained so they are not harsh or give listening fatigue. I was listening at a loud store so there may be more bass than I heard so they are at least good for outdoors. The only drawback I would say is that they are made of plastic although they seem durable and are much better built than the competing bose OE headphones. In case it matters, I actually do know what good sound is like and own VMODA M80, UE700, Sony MDRV6, Grado SR80, Klipsh S4.

Accessories: Small, medium and large single-flange oval gel tips, small and large bi-flange oval gel tips, shirt clip, airplane adapter, ¼ inch/6.3mm adapter, and magnetic-clasp carrying pouch.

Build quality: I will only list the improvements in the x11i from the x10i. Cord is square and reinforced with Kevlar and the plug is 180° versus the 45° angle before.

Isolation: excellent isolation with the bi-flange tips as well as Comply TX-100 or Shure Olives.

Microphonics: Very small almost unnoticeable improvement in microphonics. (Very annoying when mobile however with over-ear wear it's significantly less annoying)

Comfort: One of the most comfortable IEMs I've used. (Especially with Comply Foam and Shure Olives)

Sound: exactly the same as the x10i; mid-bass and lower midrange emphasis, slightly recessed treble at the high end, etc. Excellent with amp.

Recommendations: I would not recommend this if you already have the x10i as they're identical for the most part, unless your warranty has run out I can't justify the cost. If you're looking for a warm and fun sound with great comfort and isolation I recommend this IEM to you.

 If you read my wordy review of the Klipsch S4i headphones back in July, you already know how impressed I've been with Klipsch's headphones. Sadly, after around 800 hours of use, I managed to short out the left channel. Legendary for their customer service, Klipsch of course was ready to send me out a replacement pair. However, I had another idea. Instead of replacing my Image S4i headphones with another pair, I decided to upgrade to the Klipsch Image X10i, the S4i's big brother only, some how, much MUCH smaller.

These being the world's smallest headphones, they're also amongst the most comfortable. They are, in fact, the most comfortable in-ear headphones I have ever owned, beating out even the Klipsch S4i. The five, unique ear tips include three single flange, small, medium and large tips and medium and large double flange tips. The S4i includes the same tips but not the larger double flange ear tips.

The ear tips have an unique oval shape for both easy insertion, comfort and exceptional noise isolation. I use the medium, double flange ear tips and by the third track I've forgotten they are even in. They are just that comfortable.
